Conchita de Sabare Z ( Mia)

Mia is a 16.2hh Holstein x KWPN Dapple Grey mare. She is registered by the Zangersheide Stud who are renowned for breeding show jumpers. She was born in 1998. Mia was destined for a career as a show jumper when she was involved in a terrible accident whilst travelling in her lorry to a show.

Her sire, Cavalor Cumano is ridden by Jos Lansink and was part of the Belgian Team at the Athens Olympics and came 4th in the European individual championships 2005 and Gold medallist at WEG 2006.

Mia has been covered by our Andalusian stallion Oyon, in 2006 and we hope to have her second foal in May 2007.

Mia is a stunning dapple grey with the sweetest temperament and paces that would be perfect for dressage. Her foal should make an ideal show jumper / eventer / dressage or driving horse and will be for sale.

Mia’s 2006 foal, Conchita’s Rainbow, ( by our PRE stallion Oyon ) is a superb bay filly. She will be a tall middleweight & has a lovely temperament being very friendly with atheletic movement. She has now been sold to a lovely family in Wales where she will be a young riders showjumper. Congratulations to the Nicholas family.

Life is Life( Cheyenne)

Cheyenne is a bay 16hh graded & registered Hannoverian mare. She bred a foal as a younster who is now a showjumper at Foxhunter level.

Cheyenne was a grade C showjumper (under the name of Mayfields Live the Life ) when her promising career was cut short by the same accident that affected Mia. She was 3rd in the Trailblazer Final 2003.

Cheyenne has a lovely laid back temperament and has settled into her new life as a broodmare with ease. She is currently in foal to our Andalusian stallion Oyon and is due to foal in April 2008.

Cheyenne carries superb bloodlines including Landadel, Landgraf, Laykiller & Dynamo.

Landadel (Sire) is known for producing dressage horses as well as showjumpers. He is the sire of 4 graded stallions, Lady Weigard (ridden by Marcus Beerbum) & Silva Little Gun ( Meridith Michaels-Beerbum).

Landgraf (Grand Sire) is a top sire of showjumpers and there is a statue of him at Elmslom Germany. There are nearly 60 licenced stallions by Landgraf & 260 broodmares in the Head Stud Book & 70 in the state Premium. One of themost notable offspring is the Olympic Show Jumper Waterford Crystal.

Dynamo (Grand Sire) has produced some very famous offspring including Dollar Girl & the International Grand Prix Dressage Stallion Demonstrator.

Cheyenne's dam Dana, is a very successful show brood mare including AES champion Broodmare 1997.

In 2006 Cheyenne had a superb, choclote brown colt by Oyon ( Mayfield’s Mr Twizzle ). Mayfield’s Mr Twizzle has been sold ( now named Max ) and will be leaving us in September after weaning. He has the most wonderful, friendly temperament combined with lovely athletic movement. His new owner is interested in Parrelli and intends competing him in dressage and/or jumping.

In 2007 she had a bay colt by Oyon called Jacinto. Jacinto is very atheletic & friendly & is currently for sale. Deposit secures.

Bandera XVII

Bandera is a graded PRE mare. She is a lovely slate grey and has a typical Andalusian temperament. Intelligent & sensitive but laid back. She was ridden as a 4 year old.

Bandera is expecting her 5th foal in April 2008 by our PRE stallion Oyon.

Her sire, Jardinero X, is a very well known quality stallion, who won the progency class at the BAPSH National breed show 2005.

Her dam has been exported to France.

Bandera’s 2006 foal was Ladron. Ladron is a bay / dun colt. He has been sold to a lovely family from Scotland and will start his new life with them as a family ride & drive. He is staying in livery with us until August, so it will be lovely to watch him grow. Ladron is the sweetest and most friendly foal I have known and is an ideal family friend.

Ysabela is Bandera's 2007 foal. She is a delightful grey filly &, like her brother, has the most wonderful friendly temperament. She has been sold, along with her half sister Conchita's Rainbow, to the Nicholas family from North Wales. Ysabella has a future as a dressage horse & brood mare.
